True though. I like watching you shred on a clapped out bike better than all the guys on 3k+ bikes. I choose 3k because my bike was less than that

Except the dentist @Bannerman he can shred pretty good on his ride

Bout a week back Costco had some board shorts that were very similar to a pair of dakine riding shorts my buddy has. Figured might as well snag some for 15 bucks a piece. Got khaki, black, light grey. Honestly I cannot tell a difference between these and "riding shorts" 45 bucks for 3 pairs of shorts that are mainly for riding but can also be worn out and about without question. With all the subscription and membership type things these days, A Costco membership is a must have for me. Costco and hulu with live TV and I'm fine. Prime is cool but honestly I usually choose the 1 week shipping for the extra Amazon credit anyway.

We watch shows on there (grand tour and other shenanigans), shipping is just a bonus. They have a music platform too that, if it works out well, I might switch to that. But, to be fair, youtube without ads is pretty awesome so, I just use YT Music which is with that.

I have a BJ's near me, costco is a while away but I might see if I can snag some gift cards if they've got some good shorts. Gas isn't worth it they're usually only 1 or 2 cents cheaper than Speedway across the street.

What’s the brand, they may be what I have already. Probably not though as I wouldn’t have considered them board shorts.

I have worn their weather pants riding in the winter. They’re stretchy and super comfy casual. I even wear them to work.

In store they had them at 15 here. 17 is still well worth. They did have a light grey color in store not listed online.

I do have those, I love them. I wore their pants before riding also that are sold at Costco with the knee pads underneath. Looks very MTB as their a more slim fit. Not skinny, but slim.

Im actually wearing a pair of the pants now in the office at work.

That's possible, but I couldn't say for sure. Was just using google maps as an example as I know my company had to pay for it. There are other layers I'm sure they have to pay for. Plus, the developers they have hired would be expensive.

We can argue all day about whether the upgrades they are making are worth it or not. Bottom line is, they made the decision to proceed and fund the upgrades by charging for access. It's up to you whether it is worth it or not to pay the fee. As someone who travels to other places a lot, it is highly worthwhile for me.

I think its worth the fee, but it sucks if the people who are working on the trails, and updating the information on Trailforks are getting locked out... but someone pointed out that that's actually not the case, so I don't know what to think now. lol

Ho Lee fuk I’m out of shape what was I doing all winter too many donuts I guess.

I travel a lot too. When mtb project fails me miserably I will probably break down and buy a paper map :D just so those crafty Canadians don’t get a penny from me. It’s all personal choice for any of us to spend our money how we desire. I do, personally, hate to see them crowdsourcing metadata and then charging anyone for access to it. I think as more functionality comes onboard (unaware of their plans) with the TF apps I t should be a much easier sell to us skeptics.

same here...6 years running now. On the truck 24/7. I also have 2 of the single rack add on's, so sometimes run with 4 bikes on it. Glad to have the extra strengthener.
