He wasn't great but the whole team just didn't look like they were playing with any detail. 15 goals against in 2 games, tough to say it's just the goalie(s). Usually that is an indication of something else.

It was nothing special, but somewhat entertaining, considering. We kept getting that goal to keep us in it, so you kinda had hope until the last 10mins of the 3rd lol. We had chances but just played a bit too loose for my liking. And not to make excuses but when a good chunk of the main guys are out of the lineup, spans like that will happen. I'm not too worried.

Campbell set the all time Leafs record for straight wins as a starter tonight. I think I'm starting to want nothing but Soup.

Nice trade for NYI. Gave up very little in my opinion, for 2 very solid players.

Good job for J Campbell. Glad to see things working out for him.

Also, not to start a big debate but I watched the Edmonton game and obviously their 2 stars lit it up, like always. But then watched Leafs game and I still would take Matthew's. I just think his overall game is so impressive. Not as dynamic as 97 but does so many little things but still has hands, shot, hockey sense. I'm probably in the minority here but I just prefer a player like that.

Supposedly trade prices are way down. Lots of risk in moving players supposedly and teams are a bit shy to dive in this year like they normally would.

Ya for sure. So it'll be interesting to see what Hall brings back, considering he hasn't done much and will be UFA.

As far as NYI, I'd trade a 1st Rd and 2 prospects that aren't anything special for those 2 guys. Huge additions, in my opinion. And they fit that style of play.

Did they change the title of this thread? Something looks different.

I think what actually happened is that they combined the big trash talk thread with the other hockey thread that was just one person  But somehow that thread title got to stay
