Wow, that's really scary if premium ammo is failing QC, I'm gonna run some of the duds and untested rounds through my P226 which doesn't seem to care what it eats.

Probably switch back to the Sig Barrel and see if there are any issues as well.

Those jigs are supposed to be top of the line for the milling and tolerances it provides...

Collected the half dozen rounds that had primer strikes but the P365 would not fire and put them in the P226. P226 ate them like candy and chewed up another 15rnds of the Tula Steel case that originally seemed to cause problems in the 365. Then loaded a mag of Tula in the P365 and it immediately started to act up again. I swapped the Zafirri barrel out and put the OEM Sig non-threaded barrel in and all the issues were resolved. Put the Zaffiri barrel back in and once again misfires, thus narrowing it down to the barrel IMO. Finished the session with 60rnds of mixed Tula, Liberty, Hornady, and some UMC through the OEM Sig barrel and it functioned like its supposed to.

Now I've added various after-market threaded barrels to several handguns in the past, A G21, G19, P226, 1911, ect ect... Never had any issues even initially I don't remember having a single feed or light strike problem. This is my first Zafirri barrel which I decided to try since they were in stock and they are produced locally to me. I didn't do any real break-in procedure besides shoving rounds down it but I never have in the past either. After the shooting session, I rode my bike home and cleaned the Zafirri barrel thinking maybe it was nasty and causing issues but, it hardly blackened the rags.

What would Yhall do as a next step? Run more ammo through it? Rack and dry fire it 1,000 more times? I will reach out to their customer service today.

Sounds like either the chamber is off-center, or the barrel might not be going fully into lockup

I hadn't really thought of it being out of spec which is pretty irritating, guess we will see what their customer service says.

This was my initial thought, It did seem to fire somewhat more regularly when I put the round directly into the chamber and then used the slide release to put it into battery. The follow-up round would not fire which made me initially think it was a low powder ammo issue.

My next question would be is this something that should wear in? Maybe the tolerances are too tight right now and need some massaging with steel wool.

I would reach out to the company that made it and see if they are supposed to be fitted or drop in. If they are supposed to be drop in then I would let them know the issues you are having and see what they say.

With it not firing a round that is fed from the magazine, I wonder if the chamber is oversized allowing the round to shift off-centered when it isn't dropped straight in?
