Then take 88 all the way to exit 13? I think we can meet you at Pilot around 7:30am

I honestly don't know yet, but probably the cheapest motel within 30 minutes or so I can find lol. I considered camping but I'm brand new to it, and don't want to have a bad night before a day of wheeling. Plus I'm a baby and like mattresses, internet, and running water

I will likely have 2 of the 3 of those, and running water if I park up next to a stream

Okay - I will probably join up with the Albany convoy, breaks up the drive out a bit at least. Only a shade under 3 hours to get to Albany from Providence. Find somewhere to kip up for the night near Albany. Hell if they're meeting up at a pilot I might just do that :notsure:

I definitely plan to learn to camp this summer! @JDUB-Fabrication (Who I think you got your skid plate from) is going to teach me lol

I can’t decide if this is the plot to a horror movie or a porno.

rule #1 There is no such thing as bad weather, just shitty gear.

rule#2 The shittier your gear is, the more booze you need.

I don't see why it has to be mutually exclusive

Either way the DVD cover is a sleeping bag with droplets of blood on it.

At what point can you just circumvent gear with booze?

anything above 55 degrees and you’re outside the threshold for frostbite, so just go out with a handle of jack and a flashlight and you’re good to go.

Still looks like a day trip for me. I'll consider staying there Saturday night if the weather looks good to do something else out that way on Sunday.

I typically use the Park and Ride as a launch point to head east. I had proposed 7:45am departure, which would have us there around 10am depending on speed and stops.

I'm open to other ideas. Since we don't actually need to leave any cars behind, we could really use any parking lot to meet.

Fucking 3.5 hour drive. I am really excited to wheel but this drive sucks. Need opinions, which would suck less

Drive up Friday, stay the night, drive 3.5 hours home after a long day of wheeling

Drive up Saturday, be miserable for a few hours because I woke up at the ass crack of dawn, stay over Saturday?

@mabepossibly where are you leaving from again? I might stay Saturday night instead...

    @Brownmatthall are you caravanning?

Im headed out from Albany, a couple of us are meeting at the Pilot station at the top of I88. But that is a pretty big detour for you. I got to imagine it’s faster for you to go 84 to 17.

I can confirm. They are indeed sending them to your old address.
And every one carries a $100 late fee.
Ya better get on that. Hahaha
