Meso Customs hooked me up with a custom made FTM400 ham radio bracket for the overhead console.
Hooked up = I paid with money

I am super happy with the quality of the parts. Required some creative dremel work but I will be able to have a clean install for my radio face plate.

Meso 3d prints these parts, but it's not your typical 3D printer... the detail and build on these parts is unreal. Perfect color match paint too!

    Thank you @MESO

I love seamlessly integrated mods like this, MESO always does a great job.

that being said...maybe it's me but the angle of the front radio screen and switches in the rear seems like it would leave the radio hard to read, and the buttons awkward to press. But i'm sure it's probably much better in execution than I expect

It's hard to take a decent shot. It's really not an issue. I typically set the radio thr the group frequency and not look at it again.

Question...How do you fasten the over-head panel when all the switches are installed in the Meso switch panel? Isn't your access to that screw blocked? Been a while since I took mine a part.

Ha! forgot I sent that along. I sent that from work and figured I would throw that in. Once I get it wired up I'll post up some nicer photos.

Probably pop the switch out that’s in the way of the screw, clip console in, thread in screw past the switch, then put switch back in place. Harder part would be getting it back out without marring the plastic.
