I have '21 DCLB OR and I plan on getting a 2" lift and putting on 255/85/16s. Can I keep the stock OEM 3rd gen wheels? What are the pros of getting aftermarket wheels? Or cons of keeping the OEM wheels? (other than looks)

You should be fine. Lots of people are going with 255/85/R16 without rubbing while using stock OR rims and no lift. I like the stock OR rims, but I am thinking about getting 17 inch rims, as there are more load C options to keep some weight down. If I went with a 17 inch rim, I think a 255/85R17 would be what I would get. Or 33x10.5.

That's some good suggestions right there! Yeah I haven't deflated at all since getting them mounted so they probably inflated them to the max on the sidewall. I figured I would give them a try at fill PSI to see how they feel. I currently work from home so my truck only sees about 5 miles a week. Need to get some more seat time with these tires for sure.

    Mine were inflated to 54ft/lbs.

I literally was bouncing off the tiniest things in the road, it felt terrible, and was difficult to control.

Aren't you supposed to check the lug nuts for the tire pressure?

Turn lug nuts right to inflate, left to deflate tires.

Im gonna be taking it for a spin this afternoon im gonna check PSI before I leave maybe drop them a few lbs or so. My last tires I ran about 5lbs below maxPSI on the side of the tire so they could heat up on the road and also ride a little smoother. what do you run your kendas at just out of curiosity?

Got these mounted up yesterday. Unfortunately I still get some rub on the cab mount.

Did you have to move the spare house back some?
I see you had to cut exhaust, can you get pictures upwards of space between the dif and the tire and the hitch and the tire? I didnt think that was even possible to get in there.

I was running the same size on trd sema wheels and no rubbing at all that I could find... wasn’t until I went and swapped wheels to the scs sr8 wheels that I started to rub on fender liner and trimmed back plastic... noticed after some mild wheeling the other day I had rub marks on the cab mount too. I’m on stock control arms tho so I think that would help having aftermarket ones. I think I have around 2 inches of lift up front as well.
