Not in a hurry, thus the BOLO. She’s going to need new treads soon and I’m hoping to pick those up on sale. Starting the search early.

What a pain in the peepee this has turned out to be. New cover replacement for the faulty hatch goo.

I love my camper shell and my grandpa had one on his '71 F-100 when I was a kid.

Nothing new for me. Owned a 2001 TJ and 2005 TJ Rubicon. The 2005 on 35's and did a lot rock crawling with it. Been a member of a couple of Jeep clubs too. At the time I owned the 2005, I lived in Sacramento area and frequented the Rubicon Trail.

Here is a picture of it

Nice. How was the install? If I can find some short body 14” bilsteins in next two weeks I might go for it before Moab. I’ll need some help with the shock relo. Any takers ?

I know exactly what you dealt with. Did the same thing for a friend's 4R a few months ago. That stuff is a PITA. It's like super snot.

Its not to bad but its a good amount of work cutting off all the old mounts on the frame/axle and welding in the new ones. I think it took around 6 hrs. If you dont have resi's you could leave the driverside frame shock mount intact without it being in the way. With external resi's it has to go.

For our meet up Saturday the 17th we have located an RTI ramp and will be doing two classes. A stock to 35s. Then over 35s. Winner in each category will receive $100 off labor. If this event is a success then we can look into making up different classes to make it more competitive and fair. But for simplicity sake let's just do two for now. We will not be measuring the tire but we will go off metric/standard sizing for the tire. For exa5 a 295/65R20 metric is technically a 35 and will count towards the stock to 35s.

Going to try and make this but that day is already scheduled to be pretty busy. Wife's grandmother's 90th birthday, and mine and a friends birthday celebration with a crayfish boil and cul-de-sac party of sorts.

I've posted it on our instagram and I have shared it with Texas Toyota Coalition as well. We've also called a few customers of ours to let them know. I don't have the biggest expectations for a turn out. Just wanted to gauge where it's at and at least start getting some traction. Honestly I play so many other roles that I can not dedicate time needed to really push the marketing.

Cleaning the piece wasn’t so bad, taking everything apart for it was.
