Welp the windshield in the old six seven cracked between Tuesday am and This evening. Looks like I picked up a rock chip in the very corner

Only thing that helped them for me was heat :( . My faith PB Beaver Piss is shaken.

I can always bust out the oxy/propane torch I guess. Did they actually come out or did you just melt em off?

Some broke, some came out. I don't have a real torch, but getting them nice and hot with a propane torch seemed to help.

A lot of people get oxy/acetylene... But honestly for the home gamer, oxy/propane gets way stupid hot and is easy to transport and refill. Should look into it.

Yeah it would be handy to have around. I don't have any where to park anything at the moment, my garage is stuffed. But if I get more room in the future I'll look into it.

I've seen the little propane/oxy setups, but they look rather expensive to run unless you go up to the refillable sizes.

Well just tried a few of them with the impact and they moved real easy... Maybe soaking em in PB for a few days works

Excellent. Days may be the key. I think i did hours. The vibration of the impact helps too.

    yup days indeed.

if I know I'm gonna work on something crusty in advance I dry and hit it with PB/Deep creep 1x a day or more for at least 4-5 days

Yeah that makes sense, it needs time to really wick in there.

No way I'll ever remember to do that more than one day in a row

I think the time may be more important than the frequency. I sprayed these a week ago once, then once again today about 2hrs before I tried moving them

When I did my suspension I sprayed them two days in a row about a week before taking them off and I didn't have any issues with any of the fasteners I sprayed. The one I didn't on the soft to hard brake line in the back turned into an 8-hour problem because I cut the brake line before figuring out if the top was stuck or not:homer:
The truck lived 14 years in Illinois before I had it.

I sprayed everything with threads since I'm taking everything off the rear and buzzing it clean. Decided today I'm going to build a hybrid frame boxing kit, and now I need a dimple die set

A kit to market or just one for yourself? A little dimple die work looks soo good in the right places.

Lol GMC makes a tailgate that turns into a step ladder now

Next I bet they make one that turns into a mini escalator

    They really know their demographic

Just saw a commercial for it on Hulu, guess they're still advertising it as some kind of breakthrough tech
