Well, just know there are still ppl that haven’t served and see the whole picture. Likely because my parents served and the lessons taught/learned.

I feel you, it can get frustrating especially in this “new” climate. But that last bit was a bit much

Im sure the profit margin on that soft topper isn’t even all that great (no different than most things tbh). Ppl don’t even know unless a business owner, there’s more to it than the actual product cost (overhead/employees/advertising etc etc). If I was to take a stab at it… wholesale is/was likely 250-450 pre rona but since 2020 has probably increased at least once if not 3 times by now (look at cost of everything now with metal/lumber hell all materials) then add all overhead. So maybe a couple hundred at most for profit. These price increases are making it hard to stay in the plus and I’d imagine plenty of businesses will ultimately have to shut down. It’s a trickle down effect

Can I ask a legit question here? Why do you care what he did or didn’t get? Morals and ethics go further than simple consumerism. Most of us on here actually want to discuss mods with our trucks and help each other out. If you want to keep the rant going, please, go start your own thread where you can all cry and attack each other. Leave it out of this thread :brianr:

Man. That’s crazy. It was a big washout this time around. I figured they would’ve given up on it.

Thanks for suggestion! It'll be next week before I get around to them. And my seat jackets are in way as well. So kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

FYI Nacimiento-Furgesson road is closed until further notice due to washout damage from the fire.

    https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/lpnf/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5347980

The atmospheric river storm event that stalled over Monterey County in late January dumped up to 15 inches of rain on the Monterey Ranger District. The Highway 1 washout at Rat Creek generated national headlines, however, the Nacimiento-Fergusson Road that connects Highway 1 with Fort Hunter Liggett and Highway 101 suffered significantly more damage but received far less media attention. Extensive slides, debris flows and road failures at a dozen sites along the road have rendered Nac-Ferg impassable to vehicle traffic. The road will remain closed under a Forest Order until repairs can be made. The public is strongly encouraged to avoid Nacimiento-Fergusson Road until the road has been cleared of debris and is safe for through traffic. Initial cost estimates for fixing the road run into the millions of dollars. The Forest Service is working with the Monterey County Department of Public Works and Fort Hunter Liggett, and will be applying for Emergency Relief for Federally Owned Roads (ERFO) through the Federal Highway Administration to secure additional funding.

In 2018 I was tipping the scales at 272 lbs - then I started Intermittent fasting and the Keto diet lifestyle in December 2018, lost 80 lbs in six months.

I used to go to Kinders on double-stamp Tuesday and get the California Burger with Bacon - then substitute the bun with a Thin Slim Zero Carb bun.
I swear on the hood of my 2020 Tacoma - I did this for six months - and I *STILL* lost 80 lbs. (192 lbs).
    91Gz4LZvhbL._SX466_.jpg

This was the burger I ate every Tuesday... of course I only ate 1 meal on Tuesday... (fasted 23 hours) and this was it - but damn... what a meal.

Finally replaced my ol Tekonsha Prodigy "knee knocker" with the RedarcTow-Pro Liberty trailer brake. I love how it looks like it came from the factory. So clean and simple. Install was pretty straightforward and didn't take long.

I bought everything I needed directly from Redarc. Can't wait to try it out on our pop up tent trailer :D

Ya crazy expensive, we got a huge discount from Seminole County since the whole neighborhood bought in. They ended up like right around $130 ish.
It was worth it, sometimes the entire street would be covered in garbage since the bears hit every single can.
