Got my kit installed along with SPC UCA's & did some plastic trimming up front to make room for some 285's later. The ride is so much better than those Hitachi's!!!

Hey Guys. I pretty much read all through this thread trying to figure out what setup to go with for my truck. Currently running 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks and intend on running them until needing replacement. Just snagged an Eibach Stage 1 Pro Lift. From looking at this thread, I'm pretty convinced on going to 2nd notch for 2.5" front lift. However, I'm not sure about the rear. Do I go 1.5" or 2" AAL? Looks like I'm going with Wheeler's Off-Road. I'd like to maintain a little rake, but don't want it to look goofy with my tire size.

    Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

If you want some rake and / or plan on carrying some weight in the rear of your truck go with a 2" in rear.

For a bit of rake you could do a Wulf 2" AAL, or 1.5" AAL with a 1/2" block(not sure if the make one), or 2" block

I've also thought of going lowest notch with 1.5" AAL. Honestly, I've looked at so much to this point, I'm at a loss. :annoyed:

I did the exact same thought process. Ended up second notch and 2" in the back. 100% happy with it. Have 275's.

I intend on keeping 265's until I need new ones. Think it'll look too small? Also, I'm guessing you kept overload?

    1. lowest notch w/ 1.5" AAL
    2. 2nd notch with Wulf AAL or 1.5" AAL with .5" block(did see some online) or 2" block.

Either option the rear is cheap to swap out components.

1.5" Icon AAL seems to be the "go-to" people use most.

I just installed the same size and type of tires last Friday. I have the HS 3AAL, no squeak with ample amount of grease during install, factory springs on top notch ( currently ). I am planning to install the Eibach springs tomorrow. Of course factory springs in top notch is supposed to be 2", was more like 1", if I recall correctly. Definitely appears to be more room between bumper in your pic, than I currently have. Was planning to go by specs and install Eibach springs at bottom notch, but appears this is the better option by looks. I just took of E-Rated KO2/s and the Yoko's are a better ride, even being MT's.

Have my kit ordered, assembled on the 1st notch with an Icon AAL for 1.5" in the back.

Dumb question. As someone new to lifts, I want to do it right but within reason from a monetary standpoint. With the Icon AAL 1.5" people are going with, do you leave the overload in? This would replace existing leafs, right? I'm guessing the icons would provide a more quality, smoother ride? The reason I ask is because I chose to go with a 1.5" wheelers AAL for roughly $100 with shipping. I'm wondering if $100 additional for Icons would make that large of a difference.

the eibach spring is actually what gives the lift, with your factory springs i dont think you will get much lift.

Here is my before and after:

    Driver Front - 35 1/4
    Driver Rear - 36
    Passenger Front - 35 1/2
    Passenger Rear - 36 1/2

    Driver Front - 37 3/4
    Driver Rear 37 3/4
    Passenger Front- 38 1/2
    Passenger Rear - 38 1/2

This is from ground to fender. Not sure why my driver side is so much lower.

The initial drive home is very noticeable. A lot more planted and feels more stable. I like the drive on the interstate but time will tell once it’s settled and I can take it off road.

Installed a 1/4 spacer as well. Guess I gotta take my 67lb battery into consideration.

I went with the Wheelers single 1.5" AAL and have the Eibach kit complete on the 1st notch. I feel like the single AAL compliments this kit well and does not feel any stiffer than the front. I can't speak to the Icon set up. I've put 25,000+ miles on everything and still really like it.
