Thank you. Not really just arm was slightly sore. Injection spot took about 7 days until you couldn't see it anymore. I did the orange juice trick and am doing it again this round.

Agreed, similar situation with my work. You would think being an essential employee @ one of PASSHE's university's, the State could provide the vaccine. Nope, we are on our own.

 

Just found out my 85yr old Dad & my 78yr old Mom finally got their vaccine yesterday.
Finally can say everyone is vaccinated.

 

what’s this orange juice trick you speak of? I got my first shot yesterday. Only OJ trick I know is to mix it with vodka and consume.

 

Yeah I like your trick better. My Amanda heard if you drink oj the day before, the day of, and the day after your shot, this lessens the side effects of vaccine. She did this with both her shots and had minimal side effects. I did with my first round, good results. I am dong with this round as well. Does this work? Not proven but willing to give it a shot....LOL

In my opinion, taking a good dose of vitamins daily is a good thing.

 

As an alum of a PASSHE school, I’m not surprised that you’re on your own.

 

Listening to the radio on the way home, they were saying that one of the major vaccination events being held today in Pittsburgh still had 10,000 shots available that have yet to be scheduled. Sounds to me like it’s time to schedule a shot even if your not technically eligible yet. Just my two cents.

Yea, I’ve heard lots of places aren’t asking for proof of eligibility since it’s either give somebody a shot early or throw it away (at least with the ones that have to be used within a day of them thawing or whatever)

 

Same here Doug. We've been running full speed since the start of all this, pretty much running 24/7. Being around 400 people at any given time you'd think they'd offer something as the such, but nope. Honestly I'm holding out as long as I can as far as getting it though...

 

I've heard vitamin D and zinc, but vitamin C never hurts either.

 

I am an alum of a PASSHE school as well. I was there when they went from colleges to universities. LOL. But in all seriousness, I feel as if I received a decent education there for the money spent. I hear a number if them have fallen on hard times recently.

 

Well went the Doc this morning about my ACL, he cut me loose to go back to work full time. It's been a long 5 months. He said I got through the recovery quickly, most people takes 6 months or more, I'm at the 4 month mark after the surgery. My physical therapists were great if your from the York area and have to do physical therapy I highly recommend Drayer physical therapy, especially the the Shiloh location they're great people
