That’s actually where I got the first one. Second bottle could be coming from someone who gets it at a discount for about $60 less. Markup is high on these.

He's just razzing you a bit, we all know what Blanton's is. Do you gave all the letters? Welcome to the thread!

It's been mentioned plenty of times in this thread but if you like Blantons, you should give John J Bowman Single Barrel a try.
Same mash bill as Blantons (buffalo trace #2), distilled in VA, and at a slightly higher proof (BiB 100 proof).

interesting, I have half a bottle of that left to drink, and I definitely enjoy it. Maybe I don't need to knock myself out trying to find Blanton's? lol

Comparing the uncut unfiltered to a 10 year pick. Gotta say the standard lineup bottling stands pretty strong. I wonder what the age is on it... but the pick is clearly more refined and complex.

I got a bottle just because I didn’t figure I’d see it elsewhere. My bottle from my friend here isn’t guaranteed, and I’ve only heard good things about it. I’ll try it out.

Compass Box makes some great scotch - never had one I didn't like. There are some that are out of my comfort price, but this "entry level" Oak Cross is mighty tasty. Unfortunately, they discontinued it. I was lucky to find a couple at a local place.

You only live once and it’s only money. I would rather drink stuff I enjoy then drink bottom shelf stuff that doesn’t taste good.

Buffalo trace and weller are cheap and tasty though!
