This blue dinglebobber does not seem to be attached as it should be.

I’d offer to align your truck but you should probably make Les Schwab do it. By adjusting the caster and moving the cam at the back of the control arm it will push the wheel and tire forward in the fender opening. Your upper control arms probably added some caster and the good ol’ boys down at LS didn’t want to give you more than the spec sheet lists. The easiest fix is having the alignment rechecked and have the rear cams adjusted to max caster. It’s either that or cut up your truck till it doesn’t or buy wheels and tires that fit.

Yeah it’s always best to align after with new tires. I’d suggest a new alignment, could help fix your issues but I’m not an expert so call around or call the shop that did the install.

I'd take it back and have them fix it. As shown in the photo above the ball joint boot isn't properly installed.

The blue boot should be fully seated to keep grease in contact with the ball joint, right now it’s not and grease can get out and let moisture in

If you can't get Les Schwab to fix it I work at a shop in Redmond, Wa and am willing to help but you should really have them fix the upper ball joint boot and re-align the truck.

With 4" of lift, it's probably not going to stay on, if it'll even go on at all.

The UCA is designed for that kit, if it doesn’t work as designed they should replace it

    Should...

Come on though; 3.5"-4" spacer lift with ballpoint UCAs.
I doubt much engineering went into their product.

Not only moisture- sand can get in there and really do a number on the joint.

I asked the guys at the shop and they said it would work well. I believed them because they are mechanics and work in a shop and I am not a mechanic and do not work in a shop. See where I'm going with this?
