Looks like you need another post. Is the corner beam cantilevered?

Dugout and added some river rock around my water filtration and softener system. When the system flushes it self out it would throw sand in the grass and look horrible. So well see how this works

Could he extend the deck out a few more feet so the posts are far enough from the house to create a space large enough for the truck to sit between the two?

Hey I know what it's like not having a space to work on things. Putting in new leaf springs on a friends 1st gen tundra in an absolute downpour was a low point....

Couple of projects I finished recently!
    - Tile flooring in the office and backsplash in the kitchen
    - Kitchen cabinet hardware
    - Assembling office furniture
    - DIY 5’ barn door from scratch (pine T&G)

It kicked my butt! I feel like the outcome was worth it.

Was the deck originally 4’ off the house? It appears that 2’ extension was an add on at some point. Looking at the picture, the joists appear to be the 2nd floor joists cantilevered out to support the original deck. Someone sistered 6’ joists and supported with posts...

Can anyone post a link to the proper SDS max chisel that would be used to remove tile. I am confused. Thanks!

Just get the widest blade you can. I have seen 6" and 8" SDS scraper blades; not cheap, but worth it for the time they'll save you.

This is my Radon gas remediation attempt. Last year I had a 3 month Prolab test kit...660 bequrels per cubic meter of air. That's over 3 times the Canadian "do something soon" level of exposure. Hmmm.

I covered the sump pump hole (leaving access via removable lexan cover) and use a 12 volt 4 inch muffin fan to exhaust air out the wall. Core drilled, 1.5 minutes with the rented hammer drill, dryer vent pipe , taped and sealed up. Crossed fingers.

This year's 3 month test result...<18 berqurels per cubic meter. I'd say that's a win! Total costs less than $100. Plywood, 2x4, Lexan, rental, caulking, tape, weather stripping.
