You took recommendations based upon a single point of reference without doing your own research and now it's bit you in the ass. It happens a lot and just because one truck doesn't rub with x degrees of caster another may. There is a lot of suspension variabilities on these trucks because almost every brand that builds an upper control arm builds it a little differently. If you are never going to go offroad and just want the look go back and have them adjust the caster. If you are going to take the truck offroad you will still want the alignment but you are going to want the cmc and more. I spent 7 years in Les Schwab Penitentiary, I've been behind the counter selling parts and then had to figure out how to make it work after the fact. Call Les Schwab and make them fix it or take it somewhere else that can.

Pro tip, seek advice from independent sources that don't stand to benefit from your decision

Clearly you both need to read the OP and take your judgement somewhere else. :ballchain::duh::rofl:

You are mighty sensitive for someone that has offered little in the way of helpful advice

I'm gonna let that go. If you look back through the thread maybe you will notice the posts where I have suggested what he needs to do to not rub or minimize rubbing. The solutions have been posted and I have even offered to help as I have access to an alignment machine at my work. Take it for what it is but don't judge me off 1 snarky post.

Let’s be clear. They did NOT install a RC 4” kit. They also did NOT install the kit you posted the attachment of which is a RC 3.5” kit. If you paid for either of those they screwed you. You first need to find out what you actually paid for.

He has the Tuff Country 4" spacer lift I linked to, plus the longer rear shocks.

Dunno what set of shocks SX6000 or SX8000.
    https://www.tuffcountry.com/more-products/shock-absorbers/

If they redo anything in the back, I'd look into adding a bellow to the rear shocks for a little more protection.

Yep. I see that. A preload spacer plus a top spacer.

It definitely not the best way to do it. If you actually got 4” of lift down travel Is gonna be horrible. With the preload on the coilover rebound when going over bumps will be very noticeable. To be honest it’s low budget lift. If you had come to any one the site I’d say pretty much all us would have told you not to do it that way.

Don’t freak out. If your new to this, sometimes you have to live and learn. I’d say run it for a short while and save up for some coilovers that provide 3” of lift there plenty out in the 500-600 range for a pair that will work just fine. Go down to a 285/75/16 and that will help too.

If you aren't doing any off-roading, there isn't much wrong with the lift you've chosen IMO. Yes, the spacer lift changes how the front-end articulates, and how comfy the ride is. But it was designed a certain way and people buy it for the lift & the looks.

I would just get a set of slightly smaller tires and call it a day. Unless you plan on doing serious offroading.

If they haven't aligned it after the lift, get the alignment done. Get them to check or fix the ball joint boots on the upper control arm.

my understanding is that spacer to lift ratio is double. So for every inch of spacer you get 2 inches of lift. If that is the case, then you would have to have a total of 2 inches of spacers on each side. If you measure you can tell if you even got 4 inches. You may have less lift. Probably closer to 3 inches. I have done spacer lifts in the past and never got what I was told I would get lift wise. Also, I looked up your kit on the website and it says it is good for 33 inch tires. Most 33 inch tires are less than 33 in actual diameter, closer to 32.5, while yours are over 33". Wonder if you had an actual 33 inch tire if you would have rubbing. Dropped one size might make it work out

    Like, so many.
That’s solid advice. Lord of good options that will actually improve performance while adding lift. Don’t worry OP, lots of folks go through multiple suspensions until they figure out what they want.

I’m not advocating anyone runs a spacer lift if they do not feel it is safe, reliable, or right for them. However they are perfectly fine for most circumstances. The photos floating around of broken/bent strut mounts are more than likely from vehicles that went over jumps. Unless your truck is designed for such, something will fail regardless of the lift you install.

Dont trust people in a shop whose sole aim is to sell you something. a quick search could have avoided this... (AKA research)

as far as options to fix... whats your $$$ situation?
