Lol...I tried to have mine help put it on the truck once...She got her side ALMOST above the bed rack, then it caught on the mounting rail...then she got really light headed, and was barely able to stop it from free-falling to the ground, before we moved it back to the floor and she had to recover for a bit lol. Haven't asked her since. She's like 5'1" and about 100lbs soaking wet lol

 

lol i thought mine was about to pass out tbh. granted it was a pretty hot san diego summer day. but she seemed so confident going into it...

Some pics from recent travels

 

Went to a local campground to test out some new camping gear. Felt a bit ridiculous with my truck and rtt compared to the minivans nearby but whateva, it was still a great time.

 

Does anyone run a tent with a overhang and 10” rack permanently? Other than looks curious as to what issues you’ve run into. I have a DA Warrior XL on order and it looks like I’ll have about 6” of overhang. My garage is low on storage space and wondering how inconvenient it’s going to be to run it permanently.

 

I should've mentioned this one too. I'm hoping the hit won't be too bad since it's a hard shell sitting basically level with the roof of the truck. 150lbs is basically a small passenger in the truck other than that?

edit: and yeah, after going 265/75 E rated KO2s I've given up on anything higher than 16mpg but my office is about 5 miles of street so whatevs I guess.

 

Now that makes more sense.
