One peice driveshaft

I went to a driveline shop and they said try axle shims to see what happens and if it doest work he will make me one. He said he could do it for around 400 bucks. I was wondering if I should have him build me one or go through tom woods driveline. Thanks

 

Aren't you the guy that recently posted 2-3 other threads about vibrations and whatnot?

You were told to both wait for your leaf pack to settle a bit, as well as trying some axle shims and checking out your carrier bearing.

Have you done any of that before starting this other thread?

Asking if it'll work, not trying it, and posting again asking if it'll work, doesn't get you anywhere without trying it.

And your leaf pack has settled already?...causing that huge lift to come down a bit?

 

I put haybales in it and it settled a 1/4 inch

Wut does this mean

 

Have you replaced or inspected all the other parts of the driveline? U-joints, DC, carrier bearing?

Also have you verified that it’s driveline shake, not out of balance tires?

Did you disassemble the driveline and reassemble it without properly marking it when you lifted the truck?

 

100 percent the driveline and yes I put it back together the same way I took it apart. U joints are in good shape. I was just wondering who I should go through. I kinda just realized how many of these I've made tho. My bad
