I might have met that guy on a few occasions...have the card of the guy I am thinking of just not near me...similar trucks

No, leave it here as well...just might get more eyes in the bst Canada section.

Nothing wrong posting it in a local forum here

It’s pretty flexible around here. Don’t sweat it. Get more traffic in the actual buy and sell thread.

In the BST section, your post would need to conform to BST forum rules, like having the parts already removed from the truck and photographed, and the price listed.

The itch is real for this season but the decision is hard. If i went the Bridgestone's Costco has them for a better price and $70 rebate right now.

    - All bridgestone tires i have had have been perfect (4 sets)
    - My one experience with yoko exceed expections
    - the X-T looks like the best compromise tire (best off road between the three but wont be annoying or pig on mileage for 40k road miles a year)

Is the Bridgestone a 4 ply or 10 ply?

Have any of you guys tried this lock? I got one and it’s basically a cheap piece of plastic garbage. Even when “locked” on, it can be popped off with one finger and a moderate amount of force. Waste of money. But I guess it might be a visual deterrent if the thief doesn’t know any better...

Some people are jackasses. Someone ran over a giant turtle by my parents place. How the hell can you miss a turtle on the road on a sunny afternoon that is nearly 2 feet long from nose to tail? It’s not a deer. It’s not like it just jumped out in front of their car at dusk. And the road is only 50km/h.

The Bridgestone and Firestone are both C load and the Yoko is P. Given the weights I'd expect them all to be similarly meaty on the side wall.

That totally sucks… Some of the redneck kids where I live purposely try to hit them like speed bumps with their jacked up trucks.

The reality is many species are in trouble in Ontario with the exception Of the painted turtle. Sexual maturity for most turtles is well over 10 years.

    https://www.ontario.ca/page/species-risk-ontario#section-9

Sounds like a snapping turtle you were describing and we helped the first one across the road that we have seen this year. We also have developed nest protection boxes to reduce the 90% predation of eggs from raccoons skunks possums etc.

The picture below is the one we found yesterday and the other picture is me a couple years ago. Hanging out with turtles is part of my job.

That is a very logical and excellent idea to reduce the incline!

    I might be interested in some parts...What engine 3.4 L or 2.7 L?

Things that come to mind are exterior door handles if not broken(They always break), Bucket seats and console because I have a bench seat, Centre caps as shown in the picture below that would have come with those steel wheels, tailgate latch, exterior mirrors. I will probably think of some other items.

You can private message me so that we do not bog up this thread!

Who should I call next time I see something like this happen? A woman pull over and was on the phone immediately and said she was calling a conservation officer.
