Within 2 hours Zaffiri customer services responded with this. I'm pleased with their quick response when their contact page said to expect 48-72 hours. I will complete their suggestions and report back, now to find a couple hundred more rounds of target ammo.

    Hey there,

Sorry you seem to be having some trouble with fitment of your new barrel No need to worry. Here are a few things you can do:

    - Apply excessive lube (gun oil) on the slide and barrel. Lube should cover all areas where you have metal on metal contact.
    - When you install the barrel into your slide you may need apply some pressure to make it "snap" into place. This is common with match grade barrels to fit tighter with less "slop" than factory fit.
    - Depending on the finish on your slide this may end up removing a small amount of cerakote from the face of the breach. This is normal with tight fitting match grade barrels in cerakoted slides.
    - Once you have the barrel in place it should be fully seated, and the chamber should sit flush with the top of the slide.
    - Install you guide rod and put your slide one to the frame.
    - Hand cycle the slide 20-30 times. Pull the slide all the way to the rear and let it go. Let the gun do the work.
    - Remove the barrel, and wipe off any debris, re-lube and repeat.
Dry hand cycling hollow points or any other types of ammo are not a reliable test for new barrels.
Fire 200-300 rounds of 9mm ball ammunition threw your new barrel for proper wear in.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

    Thank you,
    Gary @ ZP

It’s truly impressive how well it turned out. Especially for the first one. If I had been a little less aggressive with each pass, it would have turned out even better.

The only issue I had was the takedown pin hole needed a bit of deburring. Aside from that, it was no different than my last build with an Aero lower.

They have the Larue triggers in stock? I’ve been waiting for mine since early December. Getting fed up.

Significantly reduces heat mirage. Protects your hands from being burned when you remove the can. Suckers get hot even if only running a handful of rounds

My LGS sells ammo for $2 above what he can get them for, with a 2-box maximum, so the Sig Elite was actually cheaper than the Blazer. :bananadance: It wasn’t the best price, but pretty damn good considering most places are still out.

I also picked up some flip up/down sites for my AR.

You should do a 1000rd review. I as well as every sniper ever have been looking for one that holds up. Only to be disappointed year after year...since 2008.
