I don't have a tool addiction per se, but do want some more power tools apart from my 2 drills

 

Read all 22 pages looking for updates. Did 2020 keep you from updating or upgrading as you would have liked?

Well... with the market being what it is I stood to make a pretty good profit on the Tundra. Since I’m already thinking I want a ‘22 model, I figured why not go ahead and let go of it in a sellers market. I took what I made and put it on another project, a ‘14 GX 460. If momma doesn’t decide she wants it, it will be the build of choice lol. Plans are pretty simple, 33’s and armor for a cool family rig, that doesn’t break the bank... should be fun.


I’m already testing the towing prowess lol.

Well, Taco is officially gone to a member here. I picked up a ‘17 Tundra since I’m not impressed with the ‘22 model.


Not too far off of the old one, but 6 seater, less mileage, no 20’s, and less money lol.

Front replacement bumper and roll top bed cover with bars ordered. Meso interior lights are the only mod completed so far.

 

Truck2go cover and bars installed. Guess this can officially go to other builds.

I found an anytime backup camera I bought for the 4Runner I never installed and it worked here, so it went in. Also installed meso 4x4 chrome delete, AJT climate ring chrome delete, and a Rago dash plate today. Still have 6 week to go for the bumper, so at least 10 weeks for a lift, but camp rig is starting to take shape.

 

Mods, can I get this moved to other builds?

 

Got the @MESO ac vent rings with 4x4 and AJT climate rings. Interior chrome delete completed.


Also got the center section of a platinum grill sanded and base coated, just need to finish it up and get the hood bulge in. After that the only chrome on the exterior will be the back bumper, waiting to complete everything to see if I want black or white covers.


Also got a drawer toolbox mounted in the bed for camp essentials. I’ve had this box forever but it wouldn’t fit under the cover on the Tacoma, so it got a little paint and put to work now.

 

Wired up a stinger switch hub and some blue sea goodies. The switch hub will handle switching and protection for four circuits, the fuse panel will be for constant loads, everything mounted on a ********* plate.
