    man, just went through all of that last year with my parents...moved out of the family home (for 47 years) to a smaller single story place. It was a 5 year endeavor from start to finish...lots of heartache etc...and TONS of crap in that house...that sucked. But they are better off now, other than dads onsetting Dementia...

    do hope the move helps him be more comfortable!!

    I have had both Pfizers...no problems at all!! All juiced up now

    Just got back from the VA and got my 2nd vaccine :thumbsup: . Also just like last time with us Veterans we had fun with the nurses scaring them with our air gun vaccination stories

    One of the nurses told us to please stop as she was getting queasy :facepalm:

I reported for duty, and gave them my ID, and they said "you are not Jim Swanson"...it ended up being intended for my grandfather, who had been dead for about 10 years...I didn't get to serve, and have not been called since

    i think after my email tirade to the HR lady in response to her casual "how are things for you?" email they're all a little afraid i'm going to quit.

    use it or lose it. 6/7 is my hire date so after that my PTO resets for the year.
    last year I lost 6 or 7 days of pay that I tried to use but had to cancel my plans twice due ot COVID. I was told that they were going to make an exception and rool over everything for everyone. Then one day it just mysteriously disappeared and no one wanted to come clean about what happened. i didnt have anything in writing about the roll over, it was just a conversation i had with my boss so i had nothing to go back on an hold them accountable. not going to let that happen again.

    oh, and the last time i took a vacation was May 2018. 2.0.1.8. three years ago. yeah....i'm due.
