just tonight i was trimming some broccoli up to cook for dinner. usually, i put the cut ends and leafy bits into the compost and the parts to be cooked in the pot for washing.

today, i didnt have the compost bin readily available. when i was all done trimming, i realized that all of my broccoli was still on the cutting board, and i had put all of the scraps into the pot.

    Duh!!

Giving Ullie a belly rub she looks at me and says... I can’t believe boy dogs have as many nipples and girl dogs.

I stare at her and say... I have as many as a female person!

She was like “ohh yea when you put it that way!”

    Finally had a real one..

Went to light the grill about an hour ago..

Turn the knob to light... hit the igniter button.. nothing but clicking...

Fucking screwed it out to change the battery... new battery... let's do this... nothing but clicking..

It's infrared, so I pull the grates off.. pull the stainless plates off.. check burners, igniter wires etc.. pissed off by now....

Come in, turn oven on, get cast iron on with oil... back up plan..

Go back out, put the grill back together while the pan is getting hot... figure I will open the bottom to make sure all wires are secure...

FUCKING PROPANE TANK WAS TURNED OFF!!!

A buddy was over the top OCD.
His rear view mirror fell off, not content to just put it back on the windshield with a lock-tite kit he did "some" prep work:

    1) sanded the mount so it matched the windshield profile perfectly
    2) sanded the mount to get optimal adhesion
    3) measured the exact location needed and marked the outside of the windshield with a grease pencil
    4) cleaned the mount and glass with alcohol
    5) held the pad in place 5 full minutes and then taped it in place over night

So he tells me all this nonsense as he is carefully removing the overnight tape -- he put the mount on upside down!:rofl::rofl:
It was a fine moment -- for me:)

    Hey Brian! Brian... Hey!

This wouldn’t of been an issue if you always turned the propane off and then on when you used the grill! Sounds like you’re a grip it and let it leak kinda guy!

I cooked one evening on mine and the next day happened to walk by my grill and thought it felt a little warm. It got left on overnight. It runs off natural gas so there’s no bottle to empty.

Walking all over the place looking for the gloves I just grabbed. Retraced my steps. Looking and looking, where the heck did I put them?? I had tucked them in my armpit.

trimming back some overgrown box shrubs yesterday. I was going between using 18" loppers, an extended length hedge trimmer (for branches up to 5/8"), and a sawzall with a pruning blade for the thicker trunk-branches. After i cut them off, i make a pile and then trim with the lopper or saw them to 12-18" length so it fits in the green bin easily.

I spent 30 min looking all over the yard for the loppers. black with dull orange handle grips. then i thought about where dummy-me would have put the loppers when i started cutting. Yep, they were nicely hidden under the 3' high pile of cuttings.
