I want that bumper so bad! Good looking truck!

 

I've been on TW since I got my Taco back in May but hadn't got any pictures of her as yet. So today I decided to change that. I just washed her on my lunch break and got some photos of her after work next to the hangars -- decent light and all. No big time mods yet (family and related expenses get in the way) but someday I'd like to do a few things!

Every anniversary since I returned to So-Cal from Montana and being a Vol. FF I have attended http://www.remember911ride.com/ (not as a rider mind you -- I don't have a bike) It's a darn sobering tribute put on by a Long Beach FF who happens to work at the airport station next door to my work.

I freakin love your truck Toku! Really makes me want to save up for some spindles and get above 3"... Are your only lifting components just your 6" Fabtech? Your truck looks much bigger than others with that kit. Also, how's the back done -- 3" blocks? Keep it up!

Thanks! Yes I only have the 6" kit. Most of the trucks run 33" tires. I'm running 35", the front CO's are cranked up about 1/2" also.

man, im diggin your truck. love the front of it... the 'eye lids' and white grille surround with black insert and the lights behind- AWESOME!
where did you get the eyelids and what paint did you use on the grille? What are the wheels too?

The eyelids are from ebay. they are fiberglass and come in primer.

The grill is also from ebay and i just used some 3m rubberized undercoating to make it black.

and the wheels are procomp 6007 series

 

got a link to the ebay seller? i was looking earlier and didnt find any. I should have been a little clearer, i was curious in the paint on the grille surround rather than the center. was yours chrome and you just roughed it up and painted? was the paint a color matched auto paint? Thanks

 

oh gotcha. ill get you a link when im off work but the surround was already painted. its a trd sport.

Last Saturday after taking off the bull bar to install the lights. Can't get them to fit properly so it looks like I'm gonna end up selling the bullbar for a light bar soon.
