what about asking a small ma and pa glass shop to see if they can get specific dimensions , assuming "thickness" is the only difference, just an idea

What’s up SR fam! Got my catalytic converter stolen last week at work. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on how to prevent it? Been doing some research and full skid plates seems to be the best.

Depending on what state you live in, I'd say get a URD Catless Y-Pipe.

That’s an option. But I have a 4 cyl and I don’t think they make it for 4 bangers.

better to just do the full skid than wasting money over a cage. protects your tacoma at least

I agree. I’m interested on full skids. Just want to make sure that it covers the cats also. Had to return one from a local shop because their skids was a little too skinny and can still fit a sawzall on the side. I’m interested on the cbi or the victory 4x4 because it seems to cover the cats.

How you like the Wildpeaks? You have the 2.7 4-cyl ? If so did it effect the mileage a lot and/or notice decline in power, did you have the 245's stock tires before going with the Wildpeaks? .... and lastly where do i find the seat covers you mention? I need some
    Thanks

Just did a trip to uwharrie. Tested out the new toyos, I’ll never buy a different mud terrain tire again. I absolutely love these.

I'm interested in hearing which full skids you end up running. I've hear that some brands of trans & transfer case skids will not fit 4cyl trucks.

I know for sure RCI trans skid isn’t long enough for a 4 cylinder.

Big fan of the Toyo M/Ts as well.

    Separately,

Latest mod for the SR this past weekend: SSO Slimline Full Plate Bumper. This also gives any SR guys a look at how the bumper looks on the sides without the fender flares.

I did not know about the fit issues for 4 cyl. I might go with the Desert Eagle off road cat shield because full skids might be overkill. Right now Desert Eagle only has the shield available for second gen tacos. They are working on the third gen and hopefully release them mid May.
