Finally bought some rock lights after procrastinating for so long. I went with these ones after hearing friends first hand experience with them. For $5 per, I’m gonna slap 12 of them under the truck.

I found some magnetic rock light mounts on Amazon. Made under can mounting a breeze.

 

That is nice. I plan on taking a length of aluminum angle iron and cutting it into 1" wide bits and making a bunch of brackets and riveting these things all over the place. Since I have 12 I'll do 4 on each side and 4 down the center-ish of the truck. I won't need to be as particular with placement because there will be so many of them.

These are great for wiring them up.

 

Damn, those cost as much as the lights themselves. I’m just gonna solder them all.

Yeah, it's just ripping the frame. It's a dumb design. Puts a loooooot of force on a long arm and has barely any connection to the frame.
