    100% get the aluminum oil filter housing. When i used to work in a shop we had them in stock and recommended them cause they break easy if people are animals at the dealer or oil change places. When i did my first oil change i switched to it.

    i was really good when I was younger, but I slowly stopped skating when I turned 16 and started working on cars. It’s a lot harder now weighing 100 lbs more than I used to.

    I switched at last oil change. Noticed the little spring “tab” that engaged the plastic housing doesn’t on the aluminum one. Suspect it’s to hold the plastic housing in place when bouncing around trails, etc. My RXs came with the aluminum housings but don’t have that tab. Never had a problem with the housings coming loose.
