@99TacoDriver curious why a lawsuit instead of setting a trap like GTII did/is doing.

I'll look into that one as well, I'm starting to be more cautious of all the stocks that are being hyped on SM. been seeing lots pump and dumps, but i guess that's easiest with penny stocks and i mostly watch pennies

I went and got a yard of mulch at 10:30 so I could unload it and be all set at 12...and then someone I live with said "I need my bike today..."
So I move everything out of the shed to get the bikes...Get the bike all set...Pump is wonky so it takes some finagling...and then "Oh, I need a helmet"
Drive to the local bike shop...Line is like 10 people deep "I don't have time to wait can we go to target..."
So We go to target to get a helmet and I explain that this is a microcosm of the U.S. economy. The local shops don't have the square footage to allow people in so they have to wait outside...We get to target there's 100+ cars in the lot and the store is packed...This is how the money moves from small business to big box and puts them out of business...
"But I only want 1 helmet...They had a line with a bunch of people...they have business..."
No, you see that business is linear, one at a time. Target has 10x that amount of people ever 15 minutes...Your impatience and state regulations are putting local stores out of business...

So anywho I'm in target and my 12 o'clock call alarm goes off...

One important distinction...SHORT volume is only telling the number of shares sold short...It doesn't tell you round trips, or closed shares...So many of those shares could have already been closed for profit/loss. It takes extra skills and access (which I do not possess) to I identify the naked shorts and carry over short positions that remain open.
A good indicator of shorts getting trapped is the GTii (Confirm my bias plz) chart.

1. short at $2.17
2. Close at $1.79 and make $0.38 per share...Nice return
3. Short at $1.94
4. Close at $1.73 and make $0.21 per share...Nice return
Hey this is going great....I'm going for one more...
5. Short at $1.84
6. OH SHIT massive volume because it's not coming back down by close and there's interest if you hold overnight...Close @$2.17 (cold be multiple shorts closing positions in fear) as well as retail buying...
So the plan here would be to get the short shares again on monday, drive it down BELOW $1.84 to close the positions opened on #5...watch for that...However, if that fails and it goes $3+ MORE shorts cover their open positions than take new short positions and we get squeezes..That's why that run up to close is so critical to trap shorts on the day. They must sell at a loss to free up shares to short on the next market day OR hold overnight, Pay interest, AND have to shop MORE short shares to drop it Monday...Of course the nakeds try this as well...

You are correct yes, little piece if a bigger puzzle.

Looking at a WDLF 5 day though, over 50% short volume with not much going on for "large" $ making opportunities. At least not from what I see.

I'm new to this, so observations should be taken with a grain of salt. I enjoy reading the info from people much more experienced than i.

 

Always going down means shorts never have to cover...Catalyst to drive the price suddenly up is how you trap them..(see $gme 6 month chart) however if you look at the $GME 1 month and you're short your partying because it's down 50% from $300 to $150 and you're banking $150/share right now...

Catalyst in WDLF would/could be the lawsuit. I'm playing with HCMC as well hoping they win their suit. Another "ehh" company.

Just like the market in general, it's all a gamble. Whether investing in a "worthwhile" company or playing games with penny stocks.
