There will be basic guides available to everyone, in depth guides available to pro tuners, and additional content for pro tuners on our forum.

This one specifically is for FFV Tundra Supercharger tuning

Hit the 'Prepare ECU' button, if you've never flashed anything before it may ask you to unlock your VIN which should be 4 credits (i think)

Feels like this could use some Human Factors engineering to help people understand the workflow a bit better. I'm sure that's on the bottom of your plate, but I'd be happy to help with that.

Been running the base tune since updating my ECU to 04A72 and running 87 fuel. Doesn't happen a lot, but Im almost certain I can hear my valves rattling when lugging my truck in higher gears. Now I've never noticed it before, not saying it's never done it but would running higher octane fuel help this? I ran 93 octane for over a year while running SuperFOB tune but since updating my ECU to A72 I'm stuck on this stock tune until a pack comes available. Any thoughts?

    I have no idea. Sorry.

I had that on the Stock tune, but only on our hottest days.

    @OVTune , ref this map:

    ATRA snip.jpg

Have you got real world km/h or mph values for the vehicle speed raw axis?

I've been looking through the SM and have found a reference that states the speed pulse signal coming from the skid control ECU is 4 pulses per rotation of a wheel. Even when calculating using wheel RPM based on veh speed (using the proper tire size), these map axis values don't line up. I even tried using voltage transitions instead of "pulses".. lol still nogo.

Edit: Well, the pattern of increase is predictable at least.. 1024 "units" per cell. Smells like digital shyte. Bits per hour lol?

    divide values / 128.

I'll make sure to update the def to do this

im assuming that would go to KMH

so this roughly equates to 5 MPH per cell, starting at 10mph for the lowest value.

    2048 16kph 10mph
    3072 24kph 15mph
    4096 32kph 20mph
    5120 40kph 25mph
    6144 48kph 30mph
    7168 56kph 35mph
    8192 64kph 40mph
    9216 72kph 45mph
    10240 80kph 50mph
    11264 88kph 55mph
    12288 96kph 60mph
    13312 104kph 65mph
    14336 112kph 70mph

Hmm, although 112mph is just above the stock global speed limiter..

    @OVTune

    Question if you don't mind.

So in the 3GT tables, there's that table 'Accelerator - Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload'.

In the 4runner, there's 'Accelerator - Acceleration Calculated Airload to Torque'. The info box says, "Calculated Torque from Airload - inverse of Airload to Torque' Request".

So the 3GT determined airload off of request throttle (accelerator position), but the 4R determines torque to give based off of Airload? If I'm reading that right?

The photo below shows unedited 04B14 OVT Reg SFOB on the right and unedited 35F51 OVTune 87oct 6750 on the left for the tables mentioned above. The graphs look very similar. So even though the description on the 4runner table seems to describe an opposite relationship between the two, do they actually function the same way?

In addition, what then is the function or relationship of the 4Runner table: 'Manifold Delta - Throttle Scalar'. Description as follows: Throttle Scaling

Engine speed and throttle angle are in the table axis', so for the 4runner would this table be more appropriate than A-ACAT for a linear throttle feel, to emulate the A-ATRA linear throttle edit that many of us 3GT guys have been using for the last however many months?

Unless you assume the value you start with is mph and not kmh..

i just figured since everything else is in nM and KPH it would make more sense to go the other way. But you are correct, we are just assuming

More info will be posted soon.

Tune pack orders will also start being VIN locked upon order with our new full featured, map switching, custom coded tune packs. with exception of master tune packs.
