A friend has an 18 Forester XT that is getting rust work fixed and they gave him a 21 Legacy. Apparently the Legacy won't let you turn up the stereo above level 2 until you buckle your seat belt.

Now that spring is finally here...

There is so much I need to get done, that I really have no desire to do...
Have a pine tree down across the yard that is high on the list...
As well as general spring clean up. And brush that needs to be cut down(but, my trailer is loaded with drywall, so can't get the brush-hog).

I'm at least gonna get the oil change done on the Nissan this morning... drove it and washed it yesterday... so much better shifting my own gears...

I suggested this as the first option, deff the cheapest. I guess the other issue is how the door is she’s close to smashing my kids head everytime she puts her in and as she gets taller it will get worse.

I think we avoid Subaru, I feel like they are a brand that gets by on their past and hype, don’t think they are earning it anymore....

the sprinter would be awesome, but she considers it a van tho.

fuck that. Taking things way too far. Solidified my not getting a Subaru.

My cousin has a hybrid for work and he brought it buy. We both like it alot, but I don't know if it will be big enough to fit the dog crew and some bags for a longer trip.

We have some work meetings soon, and then I think we are gonna go look at a honda/volvo dealer and probably a ford one. My dad has the highlander and that or the venza would be a good toyota option, but my dad owning it sorta dampens the excitement for her:rofl: KIA one is a little far away, but I got her coming around to the telluride.

Yep, just got to the site, waiting for RRG so I don’t freak out the neighbors but already met some neighborhood dogs (very cool lab).

What's weird is it seems like you either get a dynamite motor or a stinker. Granted the post-2008 cars were more fragile, but still. I had 65,00 on mine when I sold it, went Stage 1 at 35,00ish miles, Stage 2 Pro-Tuned at 50,000 miles. Last I checked it had 95,000 on it and had never been apart. My best friend put over 200k on his 2006 WRX with like...160,000 of it at 22 psi. He still had the original clutch in it. There's an art to owning one in terms of how to drive it, how to maintain it so they don't blow up.

That being said, the post-2007 tune was pretty awful to meet the stricter EPA regulations. They went super lean below 4,000 RPM so if you went high load low RPM it was easy to run them lean. Couple that with their tendency to not like light weight oil and yeah. I still want to go back.

Yea it seems like the newer ones are really where the problems lie. She certainly knows how to drive too. She attempted to be on pinks allout but the host was a jerk and she gave him the bird. She was dosed to be in the bloopers or something. She's got a built foxbody

I've been hearing the siren song of a 2011-2014 hatch lately. I'm thinking...how bad an idea is a ~$7,000 loan if I put down a decent downpayment? The problem is I want this wing:

The wife did say as long as the yard doesn't look like a junkyard I could do what I want.

Take a good ride in the new Rav4, maybe rent one for the next trip.

Shortly after getting Cupcake's 2005 we went to a concert. 5 adults, coolers and grill. No problem and no roof racks. She now has a 2014 which is more roomy (not sure how much off my skull). That's the camping vehicle etc. I think it would fit the bill of height for you as well.

How is she almost smashing her head? We've had my wife's 5th gen t4r since before our first giblet and never had an issue. First is in a booster and second forward facing gibket seat currently.

Awesome! Can’t wait to see the new place, the concept sounds like a great setup!
