I went to the dealership to buy a new blower motor resistor and wiring harness for my truck, and this was being picked up by the owner after getting inspected! 1989 Toyota Camry All-Trac with only 130K original miles!

For those of you who do not know, All-Trac means the car is equipped with all-wheel drive, and I believe Toyota only made these from 1989 to 1991; One downside was that they were only available with the 4-cylinder as opposed to the 155hp 2.5L V6, but 4-wheel disc brakes were available and a 5-speed manual transmission was standard (This one has a slushbox)...



On another note, my mom a 1990 Camry LE V6 in Super White, but hers had a blue interior; The guy picking it up from the dealer told me it had originally belonged to his grandma, who bought it new. She passed away and left it to his parents, who live out of state; They keep it at his house and use it when they come to visit. The car had been sitting for about a year, and the guy brought it to the dealership to get it inspected and tuned up. The body is a bit rough, but as you can see the interior is very clean; The car ran great was so quiet you really had to listen to tell it was running!

The guy told me that the A/C and everything else worked; If you look closely, you'll see the diff locker indicator thingy (exclusive to the All-Trac) just to the right of the center A/C vents...

Did you guys know these existed?

 

Yeah l do remember these but they are quite rare, think they were trying to compete with Audi Quattro's of the time.

 

You could even get it in 5-speed stick! Toyota just brought the AWD Camry back for 2021, but it’s only available with the 4-cylinder and not the V6...
