Been busy for the last few:
Changed all the oils, Toyota for engine along with a TRD filter, genuine Toyota 75W in the transfer case, Motorcraft in the transmission, Redline in axles.
Then 2-1/2 days of washing and waxing -- this shiny truck thing is hard work!
Wax is Collinite 476S, an old style paste wax in a tin can -- I spill liquid wax every time. KIMG1334.jpg

    Go overboard on anything lately?
Remove tailgate plastic so I could wax under it, then spray Cosmoline RP 342 inside the tailgate.

Got my mirror from Bobs Automotive Mirrors just now!

Looks brand new, can’t wait to program it in the morning.

I feel the same way, but damn... that price.

I've gotten into the habit of pulling the P3 whenever I'm not actually towing, and when I am towing I'm only getting in/out maybe once for a piss break aside from departure and arrival. So for now, my P3 will do.

Mind me asking what you paid, and how straightforward wiring is for it? Does it just pull power from the existing harness for the auto-dimming mirror?

Also, for those of you with longer term experience with this, how do you feel about the function of the garage door openers? We have this style mirror on both of our Subies as well, but the damn things don't work worth a damn unless we're practically kissing the garage door.

I absolutely love my home brew magnet mount on my dmm. The only 2 things I've learned to dislike about it, are that the magnets fuck with my phone's compass, and it regularly shows me driving backwards. And that with the mag plate on the back of my case I can't use my wireless chargers anymore at home/work. Aside from that, I love the thing. Made it with a female thread ram ball, and this magnet https://www.mcmaster.com/5679K49/ I've shaken the truck up on trails like an in hooker in debt, and it's never come loose.

Mine was plug and play. Works great. My wife’s Audi, you have to be in the driveway to get the garage door to move; mine works from the street no problem.

My Garmin Dash 45 died today, so I replaced it with a Nextbase GW322. Also finally got a permanent mount setup (had to attach it to the giant plastic cover on the windshield), but proper power cable won’t be here until Monday.

The 2-3" lift kit? I've been considering this. Looks like you had a shop do the work? Curious what the labor cost ended up being.

I've driven one vehicle with a Marlin in it. Amazing what you can do with a crawler! Nice install.
