Yes. Just enough. I've done the doors and back wall long ago.

I should really get around to doing this. Originally didn't want to due to it can be annoying when you go to do other work but my age must be getting to me the truck is too loud now it seems, just wind noise and such, I can't even hear my exhaust over the rest of it.

I know it's a 3rd gen, but still looks pretty awesome. Too bad it's like 280,000 on top of the price of the truck. Made by Truckhouse.

    Eh...

If I wanted a Winnebago I'd get one and tow my trail rig.

I'd rather just have my rig and be able to dress it down and park in a parking garage without being too conspicuous while still being able to throw the overlandin junk on and also still fit on the trail.

    As for the price.

Well I've officially spent more on mods and maintenance then I have on the initial purchase of my rig itself.

I see Jeep's driving all over town with all different colors of halos including red, never seen one pulled over. I do think there is a law that states you can't have red lights on the front of your car.

Drove it to the airsoft field (small swap meet) where I saw this Daihatsu.
Once I find my tap set, I'll be installing a new AM/FM antenna and running a tap in the holes for the seatbelts.
I removed them to remove my interior panels and they put up a fight.

I have "stick" anti-seize for when they go back in. Hopefully it's less mess than the liquid stuff: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053ZS1Z8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8

I pulled one over a year ago for running red halo lights. Gave him a warning and advised him of NC's law regarding red and blue forward facing lights on non-emergency vehicles. He was cool and showed me the app on his phone where you can change it to basically any color on the spectrum.

How much has your trucks overall lift changed? Can we get a pic from the side showing the stance.

New York and California are two states that it's probably illegal to do that. The other 48 probably have similar laws.

In NC, it's only illegal to have them (blue or red) while traveling on roadways. It's not illegal while sitting in parking lots or on private property. This is why many of the accessory products say on the packaging "For Off-Road Use Only".

As of now. 285s, BFG, bilsteins, dirtking UCAs, 3rd gen trd coilovers plus a cmc (cab mount fold :D). Just under 3.5" in the front. The rear is next, the plan is to slightly level it out.

    20210411_084406.jpg

Before. There was a temporary 3" spacer lift and 265s.

    20210108_155904.jpg

It's coming along, slowly but surely

How was the install? They don’t really have instructions on the website and I read you don’t need the oem straps from the off-road model

All doors and back wall were done years ago with Dynamat extreme. Can't wait to go for a test drive later to see the difference.

I noticed a big difference when driving in the rain just by doing the roof.
