Hey all i'm looking for a no drill gun mount for my Gen 3 for my Springfield sub compact. I'm either looking for under the stearing wheel area or the driver side door. I don't want a center console as i have the storage dividers and i dont want to lose that space.

Either something the attaches via a magnet but secured by strong 3M tape or a clip?

Keep it holstered on you. When that's not comfortable remove the gun and holster and put in the door cubby. Put it back on your waist when you get out.

I’m going to stay away from the holster or not debate. “I know a guy” who mounted a holster in the passenger rear seat pocket with great success. Much fun for the kid on road trips.

Fence sitting on this is kinda lame.

Hey, heres an idea, make sure the op has experience with medical, for when his unholstered "mounted" gun held up by 3m tape or a magnet becomes a projectile in an accident.

The keeper magnet works great under the steering wheel or wherever.

Just stay home. Can you imagine a drunk throwing a 3300 lb projectile at your holstered ass driving down the road?

The chances of your gun coming loose and flying into you behind a steering wheel and airbags AND doing major damage are quite low.

I went with this https://desertdoesit.com/products/front-multi-mount-panel. Added a secondary holster with a couple of nuts and bolts to the panel. Works great for longer drives I just unholster then reholster below my right leg. It’s a bit pricey but I also need to jack up the front of my seats so I got the whole shebang I’m really liking it.

I use this for mounting under my desk, works great. Would work great in my Tacoma as well, but I usually holster there.

$19.95 Either screw mount or comes with super strong 3m double -sided tape.

First step, trade or sell that Springfield. Get a Sig, a Glock, CZ. Next find a solid holster, LAS Concealment, ANR Designs, T Rex Arms. Get used to wearing it, you have a chunk of metal in your waist band. Safer to keep it in a holster, than hanging on some magnet.

I live close to 3 states. Only one can I carry. Holstering it isn't an option most of the time.

Oh. It sounded like someone was trying to mount a T&E turret to their truck with out drilling. I thought the crew serves were coming out.

I see now this I just a thread debating to holster (which you should) or not.

Why Springfield makes some pretty solid handguns. Here is a pic of my current set up which still has some room to add if I needed it.

I think some on here have used the strong gun magnets mounted with 3m super strong tape on the side of the console down near the gas pedal and their right calf, unless your leg rests there...
