I figured out how to grab the entire US 2021 Tacoma inventory via toyota.com's local inventory search. I'm using the spreadsheet help me search for a new Tacoma. I plan on updating this weekly. New spreadsheets will be uploaded to google drive and posted here. See the links below:

    A few things to note:
    1. This inventory list is directly from toyota.com, not the actual dealers. This means there might be discrepancies between this spreadsheet and the actual dealer inventory. I've seen instances where Tacomas are on this spreadsheet, but not on the dealer website (probably sold), and vice versa (I don't have an explanation for this). I do know that some vehicles that haven't arrived at the dealer yet, according to the dealer website, are in this spreadsheet.
    2. The sold_at column is a proxy for "this vehicle is no longer showing up in the search". A decent assumption is that this vehicle is sold or transferred to another dealer.
    3. There are some duplicate VINs. For instance 3TMAZ5CN0MM146903 is in the sheet twice, at two different dealers. I'm still working to figure this out.
Let me know if you have any questions or ideas to improve this spreadsheet or data. I'm scouring the internet to figure out how to lookup sales prices from the VIN (this might not be possible).

    Have a good day!

i have been trying to find a particular trim/color of 4Runner with no success. The Toyota website doesn't let you search inventory by distance from what I can tell. Any help would be appreciated.

Toyota website will show you the inventory for a region based on the zip code that you enter when you start your search. If you want to see the inventory in a different region, you need to start by entering a zip code that is in that region.

Cool stats from that list. Less than 5% are manuals. The only thing rarer than a manual is a pro (slightly)

Toyota, or some other automaker, ought to have you on the payroll. Your spreadsheet should be on every Build / Inventory section of their website.

Good stats, but it would be best to monitor those over time. I've heard it from a few sources that they build low rate options in batches. MTs, Pros, Limiteds, certain colors, etc.

    that is great - thanks.
Is there a cumulative listing of production to date?

    - No wonder it was such a chore to snag a Lunar Rock PRO with M/T... within a limited timeframe.
After a lot of legwork dedicated to the effort, I resorted to sheer lady luck - and she came through.

    UPDATE!

Sorry to miss last week folks. Here is an updated spreadsheet. I ran it today. I'm in the same boat as a lot of you guys. TRD OR, army green, double cab, long bed. Only 80! 3 in my state since I started running these stats.

    2021-04-11 inventory: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1w9H-Q6QfiDhNIhteTosWQn0xYCuYLPbz1dGuYyZUnro/edit?usp=sharing

I ended up calling my local dealer last weekend asking about a vehicle that was on my spreadsheet but not on their website. Turns out the car was on it's way to the dealership but not yet in their inventory. Once they show up on the dealer websites they tend to go fast!

I only started running this mid March. Over the next several months the spreadsheet will start to resemble a cumulative listing to date.

Here is an MSRP distribution for all the Tacomas in the spreadsheet. A histogram of the prices, the higher the lines, the more trucks at that price. You'll notice on some there are two peaks. The second peak is generally the leather interior package.

Jeebus, very cool provision of raw data (and visualization)!!

If I didn’t already snag a 2021 TRD OR manual on March 27, would def be using this tool—THANK YOU!
