https://trail-gear.com/armor/weld-on-rock-sliders.html choose the 78in option. I coated mine with Raptor Liner. You can angle them however you want, also you can cut the mounting pegs how short or long as you want. I angled mine upwards a few degrees, also have them out far enough to be used as steps.

Cali Raised trail sliders. Could not be more impressed - no scratches yet but they're friggn beefy. Still cussing the front most top bolt on passenger side though. Here's one more FU to that bolt.

Installed yesterday. Rock sliders by Danger Customs 4x4 in Calgary, AB ... bought 'em bare metal. Had them finished with bed liner by Brownies Auto Garage and Finishings in Bon Accord, AB. They look awesome, if I do say so myself. :bananadance:

Hey @CJH9980 - I’ve been down a couple forum and YouTube rabbit holes chasing sliders and Wescott seems to scratch all my itches.

    With that in mind:

    1. How are you feeling about them after a couple months?

    2. Did you have to do any drilling? Or were these truly bolt on? (I ask because I don’t see “drilling” in the description but I saw a video posted where drilling seemed to be part of the install.)

    Thank you!

    Nathan

Yes, these require one hole per side. I suppose you could go without, but they are designed to have that hole drilled.

Howdy @Traction - Thank you for your reply! Do you own or have you installed the Wescott sliders? The video I’ve seen indicates there is a corresponding pilot/unused hole in the frame. Can you confirm? If this is the case, hoping this is much easier than it would otherwise be drilling into the frame. Thanks again! Nathan

I love them so far, absolutely happy with the purchase.

As for installing them, I picked them up from Westcott’s shop, and he asked if I wanted them to go ahead and bolt them on, so I just had them do it

That’s great news! Just placed an order based on your photos and feedback. Will let you know how the install goes. This one will be me on my back in the driveway. :) Have a great week. Thanks again!

Sounds good man, congrats on the purchase. I know you’ll love them! I look forward to hearing your install experience. Home install wasn’t an option for me-I’m a travel nurse working in AZ, all my tools are home in Louisiana. It was either pay for install or buy a bunch of harbor freight tools. Here’s a pic of my sliders in nature that I posted in the cav blue thread 38AB64FE-9DA3-40C2-B80B-1634083227C3.jpg

Cali Raised, 0* with kickout, insert has bed coating for traction, bars are powdercoated.
Went to Ft. Worth and had them do the installation during their recent sale in March. -Totally- worth it. Great facility and people.IMG_20210316_132719919.jpg IMG_20210316_141802086.jpg IMG_20210317_174943689_HDR.jpg IMG_20210317_174943689_HDR.jpg IMG_20210316_141619617.jpg

You can also see the rear diff skid plate in the last pic, complete RCI skid plate package from their group buy a few months ago.

    Love them.
I ordered bedlinered without step plates.
Did you get Cali Raised LED to install yours? Or A partnered shop?

I had them do it. Drove to Ft. Worth, shipping would have been as much as installation, no brainer really. Anyone near them should do it that way. Get the shop tour, meet some very nice people, get free shwag! They are growing too, took on additional space next door for expansion, very nice plant.

I went with RSG Metalworks out of Denver for both my '21 TRDOR DCSB and the Wife's '21 TRD PRO T4R. She got flat with grip top plates and I got the angled with dimple die top plates. Install for me was pretty straight forward. Bolt on, with 1 optional hole in the very back that you can drill if you want. I didn't because there are 11-12 bolts already holding everything on. Install took me about 35 -40 minutes per side. I really like the quality of them. I called them and asked about scratch and dent that they had for sale. Got both sets at a good discount. Only issue was with powdercoating and it was a super minor blemish.

Yeah, I would really prefer that they install, but I called and they told me they no longer do on-site installation. I'll still drive to pick them up. Good to know that they are doing very well!

Wow, glad I got it done when I did, was in Big Bend a week later. Referred someone on here from Oklahoma to them to do the same. They're probably just too busy to mess with it any more, someone had an installation done same day before me.
