Beautiful dog. Get ready for the fun. GSDs are a lot of work (trust me on this one) but there is not a finer four legged friend to be found.

Congrats! It's an awesome thing. I rescued mine when she was 8 months. Now she's 8 years old and my best friend. I prefer her company to most people.

 

I have a german shepherd rescue as well. Aside from giving him an alerg5ahot wvwry week, he is a great dog. Did some training with him, and he is good to go.

Good job on getting a reacue and not spending tons of cash on a dog from a breeder.

 

Gsd’s are the best. I’ve had three. They will change your life for the better. Enjoy

German Shepherds are the best people on earth. The one most important thing they need to be happy is to be with you. Take her places. Play with her. Let her just hang out with you wherever or whatever you may be doing if possible. You have a friend for life.

I was just lurking on the 2nd gen Forum. Here’s their dog of the day. I think we need to send a 3G guy over there to rescue this dog as well.

 

My family used to breed land sharks. I miss em. The best dog I ever had was a GS/Akita.
