What are you paying for your 2021 Tacoma? (price thread)

From what I read if they undercoat it before you drive it off the lot it is usually a worthwhile expense. But honestly what do I know. I know the winters here in PA are salty. It hasn't rained all week and I am waiting a week to pick it up so it should give it plenty of time to dry. It will have less than 10 miles on it when I pick it up.

 

Things seem to be getting worse for Tacoma supply. I bought my TRD OR DCSB last November and got an okay price. Glad I bought it when I did.

I traded for my 2021 TRD OR in late January. My 2018 was almost identically equipped. 2018 MSRP=$42741. 2021=44870. They've gone up a bit. I can't put my hands on the papers but he started the deal with what they sell the vehicle for which was MSRP minus around $2500 so $42,370 + tax. I bought the truck in Indiana. No dealer near me charges MSRP unless maybe on a TRD Pro.

 

I got my 2021 OR on March 13th in Murray, KY. It was about an hour and a half drive away from me, but they were asking for more in Nashville with less options. Sell price with Pred steps, bed lighting, door trims, bed mat, and exhaust tip it was $37,200. Grand total was around $40,700. Places around Nashville, TN were doing ORs with no factory options for low to mid $39,000.

I got my TRD Offroad DCLB MGM in December for $38,934.31, that was with the Costco Auto Buyer program ($937.69 discount) and a $500 rebate. It has the tech package and couple of other minor items like the tailgate inserts. They would not budge, and actually asked me to finance with them at a higher rate unless "the difference meant that much to me" LOL, it was only $180 over the life of the loan but still. I told him I would do it if he could throw some accessories like a bed mat and license plate frame, got shut down before I finished the question.

 

I picked up the same one a few months ago out the door with 6 speed manual and TTL for $50K

 

Super rare, yes indeed. When I set my mind to it there were never more than 7-12 available across the country. Lake Tahoe had one and they wanted $20K over MSRP. I guess we are good to go until we see what changes are made for 2024.

 

Comical when they say shit like that. with my wife’s accord, they were giving 2.54 and my credit union was at 2.49. Yeah no problem you were straight up with me the whole time. Pleasure pleasure doing business with you. With my Tacoma they wanted to give me to pay $10,000 more than I eventually paid and I had to fight for it every step. Lies, bullshit, etc. Then at the end they want me to do them a favor because “it’s only like three dollars more a month”. Beat it or not. You dug your own hole.

 

Funny, I also drove to Pittsburgh for a Tacoma last month (different dealer though).

 

Toyota dealers are the sneakiest and the most pushy I’ve ever dealt with.

 

Hello all, i placed my order for a Lunar Rock M/T back on Jan 15. I believe I'll pay shy of $50k. My issue is there's no production date as of yet

 

Where did you order it brother? I'm in so cal also and curious if we ended up at the same dealership. I'm waiting for info on a date but was told 4 month's out and put down my $500 deposit also
