I will not dispute the election ....it was fair @Norilsk

Even though you are the dictator I’m posting my taco off-limits to you because I am certain you would blow it up if I let you take it for spin... or chop it up with your grinder:D

Went out with the wife yesterday and did a test rip on the new Elka's.

I can not even describe how good they are. I have to relearn how to drive my truck. It is totally different now.

    :bananadance:

The poor Billie 5160's in the back are all 'Hey can we slow down?'

are they soaking up the pot holes and rough roads in the city better than of the same as the 5100's. Is it just offroad that they shine of city driving too?

Everywhere, everything is WAY better. They soak up every little bump in town, cant even tell when I go over the train tracks.

    It is crazy.

Large holes they do even better!@

You cant even compare them to the 5100's. It is a different level of awesome.

Add in there shock relocation for the rear and hammer hangers from BAMF. And it just the beginning, don’t even start on hydronic bump stops, limit straps and Chevy leafs

I pay attention to my speed very close, but these things are weapons!

5 times yesterday I said to Ruth 'Damn I need to slow down'

Doing 90km/h on dirt roads and not know how fast you are going, is MUCH different than before.

    I am still in shock.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and Ruth said this morning 'You better be taking tomorrow off so we can go drive the truck more!'

You forgot about the part where you glued sheet metal down and just painted it all lol.
same boat. Very happy with the elkas. The fact they’re Canadian makes it that much better.

Ok I can not stop going on about this,

The truck feels like it has way way way more traction on the front end.

The front tires now feel like they are PLANTED 100% of the time. The truck felt very loose before, but I was just used to it. I believe it was from the 5100's being over sprung with 886 coils. So I was riding on the coils more than shocks helping.

The difference in the steering is one of the things I noticed right away, and fuck is good. The truck instantly turns now when I adjust the wheel no matter what is happening. aka 90km/h in a corner with washboard.

k ill try to stop now.
