Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

These tires are 4.80-8 4, so a 16x4 tire on a 8” wheel. Tried a 1” wide ratchet strap but it was too wide, then I remembered the paracord I had.

edit: free lawnmower so trying to be as cheap as possible!

 

Looks great so far. It will be a good feeling to drive it again.

 

I did a bunch of nothing today... between drinking to much last night and the weather..... boring day.... changed the oil in the Honda push mower. Went to ace to grab parts for tomorrow’s push mower repair attempt. Took a nap, watched “doom” on Netflix and then went to giant to grab some odds and ends for the work week .... BORING

 

Well it happened we got cleaned out at our honor stand for honey granted only 4 jars be they took them all. Posted it on Nextdoor app as a lot of neighbors buy the honey and here was post of the day he has won the internet in my book

 

Man haven’t heard giant supermarket in a long time, we used to drive down to Scranton to shop there every so often when I lived in Pa

 

It's actually my first time ever driving it. The engine was knackered when I got it at the end of last summer from sitting for 30 years. I've driven something very similar (my roommates Austin Healey sprite) but his is modified and set up for autocross racing. This one is pretty much stock, lowered an inch in the front and half an inch in the rear to compensate for removing the heavy as hell rubber bumpers.

That why I don’t have a problem paying to have them done now

 

I like to believe that the future holds special plans for thieves...
Not wishing them bad mind you, just that they receive "special attention" from fate, karma or higher power.

 

Well that turned into an eventful Sunday afternoon.



Good thing my friend and neighbor is a plumber. Got it all fixed up in about an hour or so.

It sure is. I walked over to his house and when he answered he just said “I’ll get my keys”. I did all the crawling under the house but he had all the right tools.

 

Sounds like a good guy, he have Tacoma by chance?

 

So what’s in store this week for everyone? Anything interesting? I got a whole lot of nothing planned.

 

He’s a very good guy. No tacoma tho, half ton Chevy and a 1-ton dually work truck.

 

nothing too exciting at work. Just trying to get though the 315 pc run of aluminum at 15 minutes each. Busy after work with a softball game for my daughter and t-ball for my son on both Monday and Wednesday. At the same time in two different places. Won’t be able to make the t-ball as I’m coaching softball. In between all that just getting caught up on yard work and getting the camper ready for the summer.

 

Just more testing for work. Need to get 7 done this week to head home on schedule.
