I bought some ICE Liquid Clay Bar. Is that as good as the regular clay bar?

I use the Cali Dusterall the time, no added weight, just glide it over the paint then follow up with a quick detail spray :D

I haven't used all of these products yet, But I try different waxes when the come out and until last year I thought Fleetwax was the best but you guys have to try if you haven't already Turtle's new one it's called "ICE" I personally like the paste but they have both. You can wax just about anything on your truck. For example, when I was younger I'd wax my car then I would armour all the black platic and the excess wax would discolor the black but ICE I waxed my bed, bumber and all the rubber window edges and it looks just as if you armouralled it. No white residue just pure shine.

How would I go about getting a stain from something black (I'm guessing its eyeliner) outta my TRD seat?

Question 1- I have some scratches in my paint from tree branches rubbing should I try to get them out with a scratch product or just take it to a detailer?

Question 2- I have no early idea how to clay bar properly can someone give me some steps or pics to describe what to do.

Question 3- If clay bar gets stuff like bug splatter off when I wash should I not scrum really hard as the clay bar will get these things off. I don't want to do damage by scrubbing really hard.

Thanks guys I konw you are busy so any help would be awesome. I have neglected my paint but I want to start to make up for it.

for those scratches...you dont really need to go to a detailer buddy. what you need to do is wash the truck..............then claybar it. claybar is simple to use..............you kinda knead the clay till its soft, then flatten it a bit, then you spray the lube onto the paint, sections at a time, and go over with the clay til its smooth.........you can actually feel the clay pulling trash outta the paint. then, after you are done claying............use some mothers or meguiars specially for scratches(one of them is scratch-x), then the next step will be to polish the truck, then finally wax. mothers and meguiars have some awesome polishes and waxes, and your trucks paint will thank you afterwards.

Hey Guys! It's been a while since I've posted, but I just wanted to check in. Hope everyone is doing well. A lot has gone on in my life since the last time I posted. I lost my dad, the shop I was moving into fell through because the guy buying the building backed out at the last second (this after I sold my Tacoma & detailing trailer), and finally, I had to have back surgery about a month ago.

That said, I'm determined to make 2009 a much better year. I'm in the process of finalizing plans to rent a better building, here in my town about 2 minutes from my house. Once I recover from surgery, I hope to move in. My wife & I also found out on Jan. 23rd (4 months to the day that my dad died), that she is pregnant with our first child.

Anyway, I've got some time on my hands right now, so I figure I'll start helping out again here, as much as I can.

tacomaman06 - Sorry to hear about your dad as well. Unfortunately, sounds like we've had the same luck over the last few months. It's definitely been the hardest 6 months of my life. Like I said though, I am determined to make this year much much better! Good luck with all that you've gone through!

eordonez - Thanks, I appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad but it seems like life is giving you a child so the cycle continues. I also wish you a speedy recovery. I've always found that things usually even out. You have a few months of hard times you'll get handed some great things shortly after that. I hope this is true for you too.
