Quick Rant: these contemporary suitcase type record players are AWFUL for your records. The mechanism was invented in the 80’s by a British chap to be used in cheap economy players. No adjustable tracking force, so it just digs into your LP’s. Belt driven too, which isn’t as good as direct drive.

National parts/materials shortage. Id be looking at a cheap used dryer to use in the mean time. Anything related to electronic spare parts is gonna be hit or miss for the foreseeable future.

    Yep.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_cooler

To cool the air it used latent cooling of vaporization, in other words, cooling by water evaporation.[4] Water inside the cooler evaporates and in the process transfers heat from the surrounding air to evaporate the water, giving in return cool moisture-laden air inside.[4][5] The lower the humidity, the better it works. Because of the dry desert air, they were popular in the southwestern United States states of California, Arizona, West Texas, New Mexico and Nevada.

They would just add to the pain and suffering in areas with high humidity.

They make appliances for designer kitchens.

Fuck statistics. I had to teach myself that to get a cert and determined whoever came up with those equations sold their sold to satan in exchange. It's the same guy who invented the E6B flight computer. No mortal human came up with either of that.
