It’s amazing what a better quality shock can do. However for the average person it’s hard to tell the difference. So far I’m kinda on the fence with the dollar to “woah” factor. Haven’t had it in the dirt yet so we will see then. So far I’m just happy about the rebuild-ability part.

That's where Crawl Control comes in, letting us wheel while passed out unconscious. :D

I would agree. I am going on and on about them, but I use my truck quite a bit differently them most everyone here.

I'd rather you be happy with the results and rave about it for a bit than be unhappy with the truck every time you drive

Not atm, I am ordering new sway bar end links. They had to be 'modified' to remove them.

So the sway bar is off atm.

Truck felt really good in a swerve maneuver trying to avoid a Partridge. Who jumped the wrong way and perished on the ARB. RIP suicide bird.

Now imagine how much of a difference it would have been if you had gone from stock shocks straight to the Elkas...

I was in awe at how bad the stock shocks were compared to a real suspension system.
Like as in you would not even know it was the same truck platform type of difference.

    one word of caution though...

With a good suspension on your DD you stop paying attention to potholes and train tracks as much after a little while....
Then when you switch back to a "regular"vehicle....
With my dodge 1500 work truck, I take the same route/speed as I did with the Tacoma and I end up almost bouncing an apprentice out a window from bottoming out so hard.

The improved front traction is more from the sway bar removal and less from the shocks. The drawback is the truck is more tail-happy. Also body roll can "amplify" in slalom maneuvers.

Last of my fittings for the on-board air should be in, over the next week,

And because I'm getting tired of stupid and ignorant drivers,

I figured I'd treat myself to some giggles and install one of these...

Should be over 150db when fed with 150psi... (yes I know, "grey area" for legality)

    it's 26" long, Lol

If I cant fit it in front of the rad I'll probably mount it to the frame rails in the rear...

All those Russian Audi drivers with no blinker fluid are gonna need some interior detailing services...
Shart splashes right out the moon-roof when this thing goes off!
