It’s barely in the picture but I used the novus step3 then step 2 then for the minor swirls left behind I used ultimate polish. But I started with step 1 the cleaner polish… wasn’t enough so went step 2… but left the bigger scratches so went step 3 then back to 2 and then 1 then ultimate polish then 1 again.

Always start at the least abrasive and work your way up till your happy. Your not going to wet sand your paint to fix a clear coat scratch

I’ll do this same thing when I take the instrument cluster out before putting the protector on

I posted it up in the new users forum and I didn't want to spam a picture of the same Mag Gray Metallic TRD Sport that I'm sure has been posted 100 times, but since you asked I'm always happy to oblige :D

LOL, that one doesn't make sense out of context with my deleted post, but point taken!

    Oh man…
I dig that unit! So does the factory head unit stay in there and this mounts right in front? I like the bigger screen but I don’t want to lose my 360 camera view or the ability to change vehicle settings.

I just got a magnetic phone holder as well for my Otter Box phone. The supplied metal plate with adhesive did NOT stick well to the Otter Box rubber case. I used contact cement and it holds to the rubber case well. I had to sandpaper the metal plate to get it raw so the glue would stick to it. When I go to get the phone off the magnet I always grab the metal plate behind and rock it off the magnet so it doesn't pull on the plate that hard. So far so good.

That's a nice setup but I wish they made a case for my phone. Galaxy S20 FE since they make one for nearly every other Galaxy model.

I'm using one of the iOttie clamps with the built in QI charging but part that holds the spring loaded clamps open is wearing so it's time to start shopping for another mounting system. The big thing I wanted was the QI built in.

No kidding, that console has been out more times than I can remember and the clips could of been broken since the beginning and I just happened to notice this time.

Here's the Hondo mount with the X-Grip. Mounted on the right only because I'm right-handed and hate choosing playlists with my left hand while driving. This X-grip is ok (have used them with an iPad in the cockpit of a Cessna), but it's a little on the tight side for an iPhone 7 (work-supplied phone) in an Otterbox Defender. I might change to a different one eventually.

I still have the DIR to install if I could ever carve out 5 minutes of my day. Life has been ridiculous the last couple weeks.

Ive used that mount in the past and liked it. This is My 2017 with the Older Hondo mount and a magnet mounted to a ram mount.
Also had the added USB for easy charging.

I’ll eventually get a high clearance rear bumper as well. Got a bad feeling I’m probably going to end up tearing one of my bumper caps off sooner or later. Then I’ll have a valid need for it so I don’t get the stink eye from the mrs.

I got some help installing my DFG slide for my Dometic. I wish it slid out a little more so that you could open the lid all of the way.
