I'm the same way, I normally like bigger dogs but we soft rescued a rat terrier from my MIL when she wasn't taking very good care of him. He was 10lbs at the time and afraid of his own shadow. We bulked that little bastard up to 17lbs of badassery now. He's cool as hell and I would get another one in the future. I think the fact he was purpose bred to be the navy seal of rodent killing and not some purse dog just to look cute makes it work in my mind.

 

Getting high on nature and on drugs at the same time, that must be exclusive to the PNW

I always thought Breaking Bad had the most brilliant idea, use a pest control service as your cover - no one ever suspects anything is going on inside a house that's being bug bombed.

It's never been worse out here and it's been really bad for years. This past year didn't help at all that's for sure

Coastal communities here get hit the worst because the weather is pretty much the same year round, never too hot or too cold.

For years LA's solution has just been to uproot them and force them to move somewhere else every so often, never really solving the problem but at least making the citizens in the effected areas happy they're gone. To be fair though it's a problem you can't exactly solve quickly or easily.

I heard they bus people from all over the country out here because the climate is so good. After working in SF I feel like Oakland has it worse in terms of how saturated it is. I drove down a two lane road that essentially became a one lane road because of how much trash and tents were pouring into the street.

 

They don't even drink coffee. They're the most white bread, milquetoast, breed of US folk

 

Definitely not a huge fan of coffee

 

Sounds like skid row in LA. Go a few blocks north and you're in the fancy Financial district with all the big buildings and nice bars/restaurants where the lawyers and law makers hang out. 5 minute walk south and you're in a 3rd world country. It's kind of surreal.
