Which one of you drove out on a lake bed and had to make a call? Nice truck BTW.

First thing looks like they don’t have recovery boards.

Sadly, not the first Tacoma rescue on a lake bed on his channel. The last was a 2nd gen.

People get stuck out on our salt flats and lake beds multiple times a day. Lotta Toyotas of all models. There a wrecker out in the west desert that makes a killing with his snowcat getting buried people out. He doesnt even back it off the trailer without 1k cash in hand.

They rarely ever do, nor know how to use them if they do.

    Pretty par for the course.

Worked on a farm in the Willamette valley in the early 2000s. Learned the hard way about driving on soft ground. Sinking a tractor SUCKS! Sinking the 4x4 tractor sucks even more! I wasn't the only one to do it, but it was always embarrassing. Either a bigger tractor with a long cable or the funky old tread tractor with boards attached to the tracks for better "flotation" depending on the circumstances.

Extend the awning and chill until the new surface layer hardens, or you run out of beer.

I was thinking of making this exact post last night when I saw the thumbnail. Hahaha. You notice the vehicle owner didn't show their face probably because they knew the ridicule that was coming their way on this forum!
