    Fuck Jeep.. My buddy has a 2015 grand Cherokee and apparently to hook up and use the trailer harness "tow ready" you have to go pay the dealer to activate the wires.

    it’s been happening in GM vehicles since early 2000’s

    In 2001 I installed a set of factory driving lights, using factory hardware and switching, wiring already present in vehicle (low end Tahoe) Until you program the BCM (body control module) nothing happens. A lot of other features are the same across the product lineup.
