What kind of tent are you looking for?

I have an 8 person Coleman instant tent and love it! But, it required treatment to not leak. It's roomy, easy to set up, and sturdy.

I believe @emulberry is looking at similar tents right now.

I also have a small 1 person tent from Kelty and it's really a fantastic little tent. Very good quality as far as I can tell, and some nice features.

We have this one. Fits me and my wife and our gear with some room to spare.

Take the number of people advertised, divide it by 2 and then minus how many people you’re camping with. That’s how many people it will fit comfortably.

For bonus points multiply by number of beers drank and then anything is possible.

If your looking for a cheap , easy to set up tent check out sams club. Not sure if they are still for sale since we bought it last year
    7B6602DE-49DF-4534-ADE0-6CF592F8A456.jpg
Not sure what the budget is . Like I said this a cheap one.

9DC98026-0B94-4DB2-A1F2-A9CC8538E170.jpg This is probably the low end of the tents. I bought the Members Mark instant tent with blackout interior. It’s fricking dark in it unless you open the panels.

    E7334187-3543-47BC-ABA3-ED72C7CB3937.jpg

They are awesome for the price. The tent was relatively cheap at sams club for $100.

Definitely not a 6 person tent but easily fits 3 and gear but it blocks out the light inside and out. You can have the lights on full blast inside and zero shadows visible on the outside. Actual set up time was about 3 minutes. Including stakes.

if you see this one is still available for sale you can come over and set up mine to see if suits ya!

although I just saw the Coleman ... same price

    https://www.amazon.com/Gazelle-22272-Portable-Camping-Overlanding/dp/B01C6CS7P4

but the Gazelle tents look awesome. Same technology as some of the portable ice fishing tents.
I’d get one of those if It was in the budget.

I have a Gazelle T4 and a Kodiak Canvas. Neither are small but I have plenty of room in my truck so why not.

    Lol!

Our 8 person tent is fantastic for 2. Probably not terrible for 4.. On that note, my 1 person is just barely big enough and I'm 5'6". I might pick up a 2 or 3 person version for trips where I want a small tent.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Right away with the hard questions. I have heard good things about the Gazelle hub tents. But they are pricy and the only one that fits in the bed of the Taco is sold out pretty much everywhere.
A friend has a Kelty Gunnison which is discontinued but REI has similar ones available. Plus it packs small which is a benefit. Those are the extremes and I am open to suggestions.

I'd definitely recommend Kelty. The one I have is very well constructed. It uses loops to secure the poles rather than having to slide them through. Easy setup, etc.

I don't know anything about the hub tents, so can't say much there.

You'd probably have everyone wanting a roof mansion like you have on the Tundra!

44906BB6-18EF-44BC-BDE5-EA85393B0B81.jpg I would say bonfire and beers this weekend but since I didn’t mark it on the family calendar my wife probably already made plans for us. I did wiggle out of a family event last weekend so......

never mind. She confirmed. We’re busy this weekend!

Do any of you guys know how to secure catalytic converters? We had one cut out of our full sized Chevy vans this weekend. The first quote was over 2k for a replacement, and up to 2 months just to get the part.
