Aluminum oem running sit up high and tight to the rockers. Took getting used to for me with no lift but the vertical challenged fam has no complaints. I love them (also protects bottom rockers from rock chips) the textured grip is great. No wear on the gulf/salt in the last yr

Just went through my second winter with Nfab Epyx. Nothing but salted roads during winter in Chicago burbs. So far no issues but did undercarriage washes almost weekly...I do not have any undercoat treatments. However, winter here was mild until Feb.

I recently bought the OEM cast aluminum NIB for $500. I like them plus easy install and no rust issues.

Just installed a set of the OEM chromes which I got from Craig's list. Nice clean simple install with bolts going into the spots that Toyota left us. The aluminum was light enought so just some blocking held them in place so I could slide around and fasten it on.

I have Havoc HS2 steps. They are a little beefier and heavier than OEM.

The OEM predators are aluminum so even if the powder coating chips off you shouldn't have any rust issues. That being said, they bolt right into the body tub with steel bolts so throwing a corrosion preventative at that spot would be a smart plan. If you are looking for a step tho, I found that the predators hit me right in the ball of my ankle, we just pulled a set off my wife's T4R and sold them on CL. I had a set of steps from HAVOC offroad that I picked up for my tundra that were great. If you don't need a true slider I recommend those. The powder coat held up really well in the AZ heat as well, which quickly fades anything black.

    A few.
Just instaled these running boards made by Armordillo. There basically a heavy duty running board imitating a slider.
