I’m accumulating sets for my super deluxe display case that unfortunately will be the last step in a garage overhaul. It’s gonna be awhile..

I built mine this weekend - looks great next to the Saturn V!

Only issue was the gear mechanism was binding a bit - just make sure all the prices on the ‘track’ are pressed down tight.

I’m Zoomed out :frusty:( GoToMeeting, MSTeams too)

(Edit- I sounded a bit harsh... Been WFH too long. I think it’s a really nice idea and way to build the community here. Thanks for the suggestion @MTgirl )

Sorry, didn't know that was proper etiquette! See images - one with the hubble coming out of the payload bay, one with wheels on ground, and one with the Saturn V and a coffee cup for scale.

    This is way cool!

Didn’t know LEGO offered up sets in exchange for VIP points. Stupid me cashed in a bunch on the Blacksmith Shop. Now I know better .

I haven't checked this thread in a while, sorry for the late suggestion. I don't know if you already moved, but when I made my trek out of state I packed a ton of LEGOs in cardboard boxes and had good luck. I probably used 3 or 4 stacks of newspapers to crumple up papers to use as custom fit packaging spacers. I managed to cram all of my mars mission, Indiana Jones, space police, loads of star wars, halo (megabloks I know )and some other random sets, most being fragile, into just cardboard using this technique and had no issues. Also, the denser you can pack them the better, as they can't really move around to break. The good thing about news paper is you can cram it in all sorts of nooks and crannies, and best of all, it's readily available and free. I wasn't brave enough to transfer the larger sets like the falcon though, I'd be too scared to break it.

I have a feeling this will be hard to secure. I got the points but I’m sure the site will be wonky since I’ll be on my phone at work.
