if you guys dont watch the channel, Matts offroad recovery is pretty damn wholesome. Not at all the typical "youtuber". They run a very legit recovery service and I would have no problem calling them for help.

 

That's a good time there though.

 

I get that and agree on principle, but we're ranting here.

I lost a 3 and a 4 wheeler to our onion fields outside of Salem. The fun of using an old lake bed as a field during the summer.

I've only watched a few of their videos but it seems like they cause frequently cause additional damage that could have been avoided if they did a little more shovel work. I guess that's the compromise that you make when you hand the recovery over to someone else.

 

Id like to see the videos where they "frequently cause additional damage" because I have not seen that.

 

There's that one that was on here for a while where he rips the rear bumper off of a Tacoma stuck in the sand. There was a Titan where he absolutely romps the shit out of it trying to get it unstuck because he doesn't have an air compressor in his recovery rig and they didn't want to air down the tires. There was a truck with a Black Series camper on soft ground... again, no airing down, let's just romp the shit out of it.

I get it, sometimes you're going to make things worse to make them better. It just seems to me like he takes shortcuts.
